Which is the best software to start learning 3 designing/animation?

I have been usiing program slike photoshop sinse long time. I got in interested in 3d modelling i can make like awesome buildings in sketchup i also made my school. But that only limits me to static and only structural models. So like could u recommend me some software with which i could start and then maybe switch over to some other one?

preferably blender 3d cus its free but if money’s no option try autodesk maya
