What’s a good type/ brand work pant for doing masonry work?

I am planning a project of replacing a front and side yard chain link fence with brick columns and wrought iron railings and gates. What’s a good type/ brand work pant for doing such down and dirty masonry work?

carhartt is an excellent work pant

  4. Carhart, Levis, and Lee are all good brands of garments. They’ll all stand up to heavy work. If you’re not a pro, though, and won’t be doing this all the time why do you want to spend that kind of money. Buy something cheap to wear while you do this project and then either save them for other projects or throw them away. I just work in old clothes I don’t wear for anything else any more.
