Why is my concrete patio showing rebar?

admin on February 27th, 2010

I have a concrete patio that was poured about a year ago. I noticed that there is rebar showing in spots. What causes this and what is the correct way to resolve this problem? Thanks for any info.

The cause is they didn’t push the bar deep enough into the concrete. The fix is to get the contractor to come out, remove that section, and repour it correctly. Good luck.

Is it advisible to connect the rebar of the building to the protective earthing grid, without installating isolation device to prevent the low current flow from rebar to grid, to avoid corrosion.

Sure

Sickest show I’ve seen at REBAR next to Starchild back in the day. Good job guys, ya’ll were amazing!!! Sorry that it’s only the last 5 mins of “True Romance” but it’s still worth the JAM…
